13 March 2013
Allan McArtor introduction
For those who could not attend the Airbus conference here is the very beginning of it. Very insightful questions were asked as far as batteries are concerned, which is highly linked to our idea. This will help us a lot tackle this issue.
13 March 2013
Airbus Finds a Home in the US
Airbus Americas chairman Allan McArtor met with us this morning before his interesting talk about Airbus coming to the US, its link with education and upcoming challenges with technologies, which is of particular interest for us.
12 March 2013
Could this be our idea?
We finally found our 100% Green concept! Not sure we will be able to save waiting time with this one though. An incredible picture found by Christopher.
12 March 2013

Report
The report has been started this week-end. Only one month left... It's time to write !!
09 March 2013
Did you know?
On a Paris-Toulouse (south of France) flight, 1/3 of the time is spent on the ground!! Taxi time can be predominant for some flights and we hope our idea could reduce that proportion.
08 March 2013
New idea
We found a way to extend our study and see how it applies to waiting time for taxi!
(Photo taken at ATL airport by Frederic)
08 March 2013

Data collection
Having the chance to near the busiest airport in the whole world: Atlanta! Let's take advantage of it for noise data collection and see what could be the impact of our idea: Frederic found a good spot for this (red dot) as well as for video shooting.
20 February 2013
A320 Nose Landing Gear
Here is a very critical part of our idea focused around the main landing gear. The A320 is used for comparison. We find those pictures interesting as they show
the mechanisms involved.
19 February 2013
Some logo ideas
We would need the team to get a bit of identity so why not use a logo linked with Aiolos, greek ruler of the winds? Here are Google images that could give us ideas for a logo. What do you think?
19 February 2013
Meeting this week
Wednesday, either in the CoVe or CoDe room, let's make some slides to present and summarize the work done to Dr Mavris. Try to have them ready for tomorrow.
17 February 2013
Video
Started thinking about the video, I gathered the ideas we mentioned earlier this year. Also I will see the communication services if they have some cameras for us. Can anyone inquiry about the availability of the places we are thinking of?
16 February 2013
A320 Landing Gear Retraction
Nice detail of landing gear kinematics and integration for an A320. Let's try to couple that with the different architectures we can find in the book.

16 February 2013
Advice from grand challenge team
The team working on noise around the Atlanta airport could give us some help about the requirements needed. They probably have good contacts for the information we need, I will see with them.
16 February 2013
Reference
Nice example of airport noise footprints, we need this to map the requirements. Try to read the whole lecture as it has precise definitions for noise measurements that we would need to understand. The file is on the server.
15 February 2013
