The lightest material can transport sound efficiently with reduce amount of losses.Note that CORRUGATED DESIGN will increase the dB. PVC Schedule 40 is the optimal material that has been use in our experiment more video log coming through! STAY TUNED!

Test Results - Experiment 1

The experiment prove that sound can be captured and the frequency can be amplified by using the dish. Design of the dish focal center must follow the sound source. Though, the data shows frequency inconsistency.

Video Log - Series 1

An experimentation for our dummy prototype to study about the relationship between wavelength & dish size. We have simulated aircraft noise in an airport at our research laboratory. Watch the video and observe the readings on the sound meters.

Experiment - Dummy Test

We have executed a dummy experiment whether the dummy prototype is working as designed. Turn out, it is working! Just a few steps away for a complete prototype. Refrigeration chamber is on it's way.. Observe the results on the sound meter.

Prototyping - The Dummy

Finally! our first prototype dummy has completed. Despite using a wok earlier, we manage to get the Astro Dish for the noise focal reception. Now we can do a few test using the dummy set.

The basic chamber component consist of resonator known as tube, the stack which is the arrangement of metal plate inside the resonator, source of sound, noble gases, and the heat exchanger. The picture describes arrangement to build the chamber.

Acoustic 101 - Tube & Wavelength

A tube open at both ends has certain harmonic frequencies to resonate. Frequencies integer number of half-wavelengths of sound fit inside the length of the tube at the fundamental frequency, one-half wavelength fits in the tube.
